I have a 1997 spx. And I have a 97 gtx bare hull. Will my motor jet pump and electronics all swap over to that?

Yes but you might not get the gauges to work and the impeller will probably be the wrong pitch.

Never swap the engine from a running SPX to a GTX, That's X4 blasphemy MAN!!!

I feel your pain, my wife has a 2003 GTI that she loves and I just don't understand why.
