Hey guys, I was wondering if it would hurt to run all 1/4 fuel lines in my 94 gtx 657cc, i replaced all the lines and it seems like it idleing a little higher then normal, because the input line is bigger then normal?

thanks for the input guys love the forums!

also the water cooling lines that comes off the head and tee off to the exhaust pipe, and then off the back by the tow hook.

I put 1/4 inch lines for those also and it seems like that water wont circulate threw these lines, they are a little bigger then the factor lines, is this why?

the lines are clear so i can see whats going on, and it seems like its not building pressure, is this good??

this is when it hooked up to the water hose, havent checked on water yet

Take the ski to the side or last ramp and run it on the trailer to see and feel the warmth, I think the 650 fuel is all 1/4 inch size - this has nothing to do with idle speed just the goop jammed in the control valve and if you do not clean the filters it can ruin the carbs so clean out everything.

all fuel lines where replaced, fuel selector cleaned, all filters inside and outside the carbs cleaned, rebuilding the starter today.

still wondering what to do about the water lines tho????

Dip the boat in the water on the trailer and run it there to observe everything working, fix what leaks you find and dip again till you get it going, the hose gives limited run time, do this to start each season and the breakdown drama goes away.
