Question about dess post...

Hello

I have a seadogtx millenium editon, when i put the key in the dess post the ski don't do nothing no beeps doesn't turn on the info center it's dead. I got two keys and i put the both keys and dead.

I verified the ski looking for a broken wire, verified the battey voltage and everything is good.

I think that the dess post is defective. Any ideas? If i change the dess post with a new one i have to program the keys again?

The post is probably gone bad. It's a common problem.

If the keys were the wrong ones, or the contacts were dirty, the ski would still turn on, and give you a beep... it just wouldn't start.

Inside the post, there is a little magnetic switch, and they do go bad once in a while.

And NO... you won't have to reprogram anything. You can get a new post and install it without an issue.
