Well, I believe I have the Ol Ladies Figured out and now, I popped my key on mine just a while ago and Nothing......! This Happened just the other day for a moment but, I popped off the key and placed it back on and No Problems all day till, NOW... It makes no noise, does not try to engage the Starter, just nothing! I remind you, I just recently put a Rectifier in this maybe 1 month ago but, I know nothing about these and I'm Learning & , this is a new one for me, it makes NO Noise at all. I plug up and for the heck of it, hit the Trim, it moves up -N- down and then, hit the start, NOTHING! :banghead:..... Any Help Is Well Appreciated! Thanks, Tim

Open the grey box and check for a blown fuse. Clean the Key, a pencil eraser will do,
The key has an magnetically embedded the MPEM (brain) reads before it will allow
its verious products to operate. DESS. Read & understand your Shop Manual, it will
have answers to most questions and help you diagnose a problem. Bill

Thanks Bill... I opened the Grey Box and I have no Blown fuses so, I will try the pencil eracer as I don't have a shop manual.... When I place the Lanyard in, I can move the Trim up -N- down so, I thought that was showing it was recognizing it but, I'm sure thats on a different Circuit....Thanks, Tim

It may be a bad ground. While you have the Ebox open, put a wrench across the start relay/solenoid. Post result.

Thanks Bill, I did what ya said & it turned right over so, I replaced the Solonoid & I'm back, ready for the water! Also, replaced the Ol Ladies Wear Ring, what was left of it, I dont see how it pulled her... Thanks, Tim
