Hey everyone,
I'm new to the forum, although I've owned my sea doo for 2 years, so here's my situation. Sucked up a nice rock, naturally replacing impeller and wear ring, stainless of course, no biggie. But I need help with judgement of the pump housing veins. They were damaged in the incident, taking chunks out of a few of the veins, some as big as a quarter. Is it mandatory to replace asap, or can I run it for a while until my wallet will accommodate for a new one?? And can I get just a housing and use the hardware from the old one, like the bearings, etc.??

replace when you can afford. you could reuse impeller shafe and thrust bearing and thrust washer as long as they are not worn. would both pump bearings, oil seal and wear ring in your "new" used pump you purchase
