Pulling drive shaft

Got a 2007 RXT with 119 hours on it. Have to pull the driveshaft to get into the oil pump.i Have never did anything maintenance wise to the lower end yet besides wear ring and prop. Any suggestions on what I should do as far as maintenance since The driveshaft is out and disconnected?

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual. When was the last time you serviced the jet pump?

I service them every year before season starts.

I'd change that to at the end of every season. If you leave water in the jet pump over the winter and it freezes, it will destroy the jet pump. It won't be good for the bearing either.
