so low compression in my rear cylinder (130 front 60 rear) led me to pulling the top end off, and here's what I found:
-the sides of both the pistions and cylinders appear to be in good shape, no rivets, gouges or scrapes, so i think this is good
there were no circlips on the rear (guessing this is/was one of the causes)
-the ring on rear was all but gone, so obviously both need replaced (another obvious cause I'm sure)
now the tops of both pistons have divets around the outside egde, going in a circle of about 1/4. What causes this? and is it a major problem? and the rear is worse than the front if that helps
so any advice, ideas, comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated
