is a seadoo 717pto pulley the same as a 657 (the part where the driveshaft goes)can i use 657 on a 717

off a 657X motor...YES. The other I think is a liter weight as also used on 587's.
It would work also, engine would rev quicker, but not pull consistent at WOT.
