I just acquired a 97 Seadoo Challenger 1800 project boat. Starting to go over the list of things that has to be replaced and stuff that is not required that I would like to replace. One item on the boat that I am not sure where it falls is the port side shoe. The previous owner appears to have struck the trailer bunk and broken the shoe off. How will this affect performance? I am wanting to drop the boat in the water this week for a "shake down cruise" and was wondering what to expect assuming jet is working properly on that side.
