Engine starts and runs well but after a short time the oil press. warning horn sounds. Checked oil to find it up on dip-stick a little and odor of gasoline. Engine is making oil which tells me fuel enrichment for 'warm-up' is not terminating as engine warms thus fuel washes down cylinder walls and enters the crankcase. I have changed oil twice since the first occurrence to no avail. No dealer in my area sells or services Sea Doo products anymore.
Wish to know if anyone else has experienced this problem and is it a simple temp bulb malfunction or as expensive as a engine control computer function.
Thanks, Oldtimer.
PS I imagine an 'app' and pigtail to allow a laptop hook up and readout is still proprietary and too much to hope for even for older Skis.

If I am reading correctly. Your oil level increase and it is fuel that is being added.

Yes, the new skis are very technical. Since you have no dealer near you, you should buy a CanDoo Pro.

My guess is your temperature sensor is within range but not letting the MPEM know the engine is warm, so it keeps dumping fuel

Or, you have an injector that is leaking and stuck open.

is it running rough ? check plugs see if you have any unburnt fuel washing into cylinders. I know my 03 needs a warm up period before I get going. are you getting any codes?

Second this... Check your plugs might be a simple gap problem. If it sparks the fuel will burn (assuming correct timing) Any smoke by chance? Or smell rich?
