prime oil after carb rebuild

I think I need to rebuild my carbs. '96 GTI 717 started ok, went out and was a little boggy. Stopped to lift seat to see whats wrong. Unit stalled and will not start. I have spark, fuel in the lines, fresh fuel in the tank, inj oil ok newer battery, tether conn good etc. My question is, do I need to reprime my oil feed after I replace the carbs. I dont think I do as it looks like the oil line does not go into the carbs but Im not that far in. Waiting to make sure my rebuild kit shows up first. New to me on a Seadoo and dont have alot of info to go on. Thanks.

Check compression before anything, you don’t need to prime the oil lines but while you have the air box and carbs off, if the small oil injection lines are original, now is the time to change those. When changing the small oil lines when you start the machine reach in and lift the oil pump lever. This will make the pump run as if the machine was at WOT but it will just be idling and the new lines will fill up in about 4 seconds. I always premix a little fuel in the tank when doing this as a precaution but it’s not necessary
