Hi! Just switched to premixed fuel. I've diconnected the bowden cable between carb and that "oil injection thing", but is it really switched off now? What about oil tank? There's still some oil left, and I really don't want the two different types of oil get mixed together that's all. Should I drain that tank to be 100% sure?
Thanks for reply!!!

Forgot to tell that is XP 650 1994 I believe ;)

The oil in tank is green and the one I use for mix is yellow. Thanks

skod...you need to keep the oil lines from the bottom of tank, going to case hooked up, and the oil line from exhaust side, going back to, top of tank, hooked up. Only line you should remove/block, is the line with the filter in it. As for type of oil, make sure, you use premix oil, for your gas. Dont worry about the oil in bottle, but yet, leave oil in there.

Thanks!

I've removed oil filter and put some plugs instead.
Just to clearyfy, are you saying that is ok to use two different types of oil?
One to lublicate bottom of engine, ond oter for gas?

Went for premixed just to be on the safe side, cos when i bought that jetski (unfinished project), the cable (carb to injection) was missing. I made one (used old bike brake cable) but not sure if can trust adjustments etc.
(Can't get oryginal parts local )
Oil I've got is acctually grey/blue.
