I thought it would be cool to see what everyone has going on. I'm thinking a picture of the project and a description of plans or where it is currently. I would recommend starting a "specific thread" if you are going to post a JOURNEY. Just a picture and an update here but hey where it goes it goes. LOL :D Perhaps we can encourage one another. LOL I have a thread on this one started. 1996XP, Buckshot Carbs, Factory Pipe, some kinda nozzle, etc. I don't like the paint but I'm gonna live with it. Kinda retro. Back burner for now but in a month or so....hope to have it moving forward. Engine has arrived so....waiting on me.

THREAD HERE - I will update when I make some progress. 1996 XP Performance Resto

Picked up this 1994 Seadoo XP for my friend’s 17 year old son. It’s his first ski. Came with two place ski trailer from modified boat trailer for $200. Within 30 mins of getting it home we had it running. Doing all the needed maintenance items now. Hope to have him water test it possibly by this Weeknd. So far it has cleaned up nicely.

I'm on the hunt for one right now. If anyone in Dallas has a project they'd sell let me know! Have my eye on a couple but nothing worth buying yet.

1993 sp I got from my neighbor. Spent a lot of time power washing and waxing. Still needs polish. Engine should be running this weekend and new decals on the way!

My first project during quarantine was a buff and polish on my 03 XP DI. The hull was faded to a pink. I also took the opportunity to do some color changes and a new seat cover. This is the most recent pic, I have since replaced the rub rail insert with a yellow one to match the other side.

The big project this quarantine/summer is bringing my red and black GTX back to life. Picked it up for 50 bucks with a blown engine 2 years ago. I have gathered the required parts as well as some spares that were too good to pass on and hope to begin the full cleanup and engine build in a week or 2. Despite it's rather gross condition, it appears that everything is there and just needs cleaned and reassembled. I already have most everything except the wiring and a few hoses out of the hull as well as the black trim off in preparation for a buff and polish session. I have family in MA and they have obtained a white and blue 2000(?) GTX that will provide a near mint seat as well as some miscellaneous parts like straps and a mint glovebox with latch. This will also be my first 951 build and second DI ski.

96 and 97 SPXs. Haven't ran in 5ish years. My childhood neighbor was tired of looking at them and gave them to me. Just ordered parts last night to hopefully get them running in the next couple weeks. They cleaned up nice but they both have their fair share of issues that need addressed.
