possible oil leak from pump line?

hi guys,
I had a previous thread on my oil leak in which I had thought I fixed with a new gromet and tightening of oil filter which seemed a little loose, but now im back to square one. Been rideing it every other weekend and still has the leak (I ride seldomly unfortunately no time), I put a paper towel under the engine and their seems to be a slight drip pattern on the towel coming from under the RV cavity where the carbs connect to the RV, any chance of a bad O-ring there? or I also notice there is 2 lines coming from injection pump out of the top, I assume they are oil lines and I can see one line goes under engine and I cant seem to reach it, I gave this line a good pull to see if it was loose but it didnt even budge so I think it is tight and I did check all the lines for frays/cracks and they were all good from what I could see. Any ideas? if I have to pull the engine to find out im just going to forget about it and ride until she blows one of these days. Also I did check the line that goes to the bottom of RV cavity and the elbow and the oil line connection there is dry. im running low on options other than that one line from top of injection pump that I cant feel or find without some disassembly. I know the RV cavity is supposed to have some oil in it, would it just be a simple O-ring fix if this is the problem?

Thanks
Ryan

Sounds like you covered most of the basics.
I have seen where sometimes the cover plate on the pumps can work loose, it is held on by phillips screws I think.
There is a seal on the end of the rotary shaft to separate the cavity from the intake then the intake has an o-ring to seal it from the outside of the engine so it is doubtful the oil is coming from the cavity to the bottom of the outside manifold.
I would hate to see you run it till it blows if it is something simple. The engines are not that hard to pull then you could add a little pressure to the oil tank to find your leak.

could be the cover plate, as mentioned, but many times there is a worm gear clamp on the lines that digs into the hose over time and eventually causes a leak.

Well, im hoping maybe I can put a hose clamp on some suspicious oil lines from the injection pump and wait until oil stops leaking then I will know which line is feeding th oil leak hopefully? Im just wondering if that would be ok or would I need to bleed the line after? im planing on putting a clamp on RV oil line and then if that turns up no differance then a clamp on the injection lines and ill go from there I hope. I checked the cover plate all around the injection pump is dry. Sry im lazy it is a very small leak in that I would say it leaks about 1 litre of oil every month but its just annoying in how every week im useing like 1/4 role of paper towels to clean it from the hull lol. Also I hpe my bottom end is ok because I noticed my oil injection pump alighment marks were about 3 mm off on the lean side....the engine runs great but not too sure of the wear thats been dne already, the compression is a good 142-145.

thanks
