I have '08 GTX that sat for a while before we attempted to use it. We added fuel and it started right away and seemed to run fine. It went about 300 yrds and bogged down then quit running.
We brought it ashore and drained all the fuel thinking it was poor fuel, charged the battery overnight an dstarted it the next day. Again it ran for a while then bogged down and quit. I checked the fuel supply and it seemed good. I cheched the plugs and they are firing. Seems to me to be a fuel supply problem but with fuel injection im not real sure which way to head with this one
After sitting for a while or sometimes we would relieve the pressure on the fuel system and then it would run for what seemd like 2 or 3 minutes then it qould quit again.
We went thru this scenario several times and finally pulled it out of the water completely.
Anyone have any suggestions before i take it to the dealer
