My 97 GS ran sweet all day today, then, it lost power and sounded funny. Eventually it stalled. Got back to shore and checked the *plugs and noticed a carbon build up on the head of the plugs(where the boot connects to the plug) plugs were fouled as well. Also, the the head of the plugs were loose. The boot jiggles on the plug. I got it home and got it to fire up and idle, hit the throttle and it stalled. So im thinking that the lack of power and stalling is caused by a bad connection/fouled plugs(unless you have any other suggestions). Can I just replace the boots and wires with standard ngk plug boots and wires?
