Plug wiring

So the previous owner decided to do a little wiring......



What's the best way to fix this? Can the pins be pulled out to solder the wires properly?

Can't believe anyone would cut the wires so close to the plug

Yep... you can buy a pin tool and fix it correctly.

I believe its called a weatherpack terminal tool.
This is the one I have at work.
