i have a 1998 gsx and it will idle but when you give it gas it cuts out . i put new carb kits in it and still does it . any ideas?

check the compression first,then make sure carbs have this settings, LSA=1.25, ad HSA=mag carb "0",pto ".25". Get back w/findings...

mine will do that when u are warming it up before you take off. i have to "feather" the throttle a bit but she goes great after that. i used a fuel additive called 44k i got from our chevy dealership cause i thought some stuff was carbon'd up in there. the rave's were clean and everything looked great. i just let er warm up a bit then take off.
