Starboard Engine shuts off.

I have a 1997 sea doo speedster.

Once I load the boat into the water both engines start fine, it takes me about 10 minutes to get oun into the deep water. I push the boat to about half throttle and cruise for about 2 minutes until I hit a no wake zone. At this time I drop the throttle to the idle position and the starboard engine shuts off. It does not start back up. Once the boat is out of the water it starts right up again.

Any suggestions???

I have a 96 challenger and mine would start great out of the water and when just getting into the water. When I was out running around on the lake for awhile I would shut it down for 10-15 min. and it would take a long time to start it. When I was sitting there all you could smell was exhaust, I finally figured out that my front RAVE valve seal was halfway off allowing exhaust into the engine compartment not letting the engine get much fresh air to start. Check you engines for exhaust leaks.
