Hi guys, took my seadoo 951 rxdi out for a wakeskating session. We where out for around 1hr 30mins and it just cut out!

Both plugs are giving of a spark, if i take plugs out I can see fuel vapor. But if I crank it it will turn over no problem but tries to start now and again but just won't fire up! If I take out front spark plug ( one closest to the fuel tank) it will fire up stright away on one cylinder! And sounds fine. As soon as I put the front plug back it it just keeps turning over and won't fire up!

Any ideas guys?

Thanks jamie :)

Change plugs. I think the one plug is fouling and shorting out the other one if its a single coil design.

I will change the plugs but they are only 2hrs old and it has 2 coils, 1 coil for each plug.

Thanks for the replies guys its Very helpful :)

Someone should be able to help you here.
They have just not read the post yet. I would check all your ground connections clean and protect with dielectric tune up grease. Seperate ALL your wire harness junction plugs. Look for crud and put more dielectric grease to protect connections.Check all fuses, look at them closely. Make sure if you have a ground connection to the box with the coils, it is good. look at spark plug wires. No breaks, cuts or touching a metal surface that can ground it. Dielectric grease coating the inside of the boots.

Awesome mate thanks I'll take a good look at it all and report back. :)

Might consider pulling the Mag cover off. Look for oil inside the housing. Might have a blown crank shaft seal if you find some. The engine would be sucking air from around the busted seal. Just a thought to check out. I have not read alot about fuel injected engines on the Ski's. Mine also have Carbs. Try not to throw parts at it. You just get upset when yet again! It's not the fix!
