Hi. I bought a used 2010 Seadoo 130. The seller did a water test and it seemed to run fine. Today i put it in the water. Immediately it had a P0562 error code (which seems to be a voltage/battery issue). The battery light was flashing. It was also beeping. I had it out for around 15 mins and it was sluggish. It then became hard to keep it balanced. I got it back to shore and opened it up. The hull was full of water. Around 60% full. The plugs were in tight. There are a lot of repair and patch jobs to the hull. I have rented these many times, but never owned. What are your thoughts on the problem?

Pull the spark plugs ASAP and crank the engine. If you wait too long...bye bye engine. If no water shoots out, you're probably good.

As for how the water got in there...partially fill the hull with water while on the trailer and see what comes out and where.

I pulled the plugs. I tried starting it, however it wouldn't - I assume because the plugs were out. However water did not shoot out.

I should also note that the water coming out the back plugs was warm.

I put the plugs back in and it fired up no problem. Did this about 4-5 times for very short amounts of time. So does this mean that I avoided engine damage?
