Pillion grab belt

I was at a customers house yesterday repairing a thread on his Buell so he could put a rack on the back so his 8 year old son would feel more comfortable and less scared about falling off.
I mentioned to him about my kids having problems if they are behind me trying to hold on and he showed my this belt he had.

Has anyone used one?
For $15aud I bought one anyway.

Just buy them their own ski I am sure they will be fine at 8 years old.
I see parents let their 4 year old's ride their 450+ quads at the dunes all the time, who needs to reach the pegs or brakes anyways.
Sad but very true.

They used to sell these back in the day for skis but have never used one. My little copilot is 4 so he just rides in front of me and drives. At least he still thinks he is driving.

I have a 3 & 5 year old, if I'm only taking one of them they ride up front.
If they both hop on I have the 5 y/o on the back and I hope this helps.
