I was browsing today at work and I came across a picture in a thread of a Seadoo jumping a wave, way airborne....

It almost looked photoshop...

does anyone have a link to this photo? I would appreciate it :)

Thanks

if thats real that just equals broken wrist/nose of someone... plus the amount of damage to the hull I would be SKEERED to do that....

Looks real, and to be honest, it looks real fun! Wouldn't want to do it with my boat, but possibly a rental.

I still thank with that much air and at that angle the slap on the water is going to mess something up... snap a bracket/engine mount/battery tray I mean something will have to break...
I am like you not in my boat, but Id ride in someone else's LOL

Brings on a whole new meaning "ride it like you stole it"
Thats some air time he's got goin on there. Buddy of mine blew out his drive shaft doin this type of thing.

I'm going with photoshop on this one. If you look at where the boat should have crossed the wake, there is no disturbance of the water and the angle of the boat would suggest he hit a massive wake, sending that boat to some serious distance. That's not a very big wake. Now I'm not saying that type of air is not possible, but that wake seems way too small for that angle and trajectory.

I hear its possible.

as you fly thru the air? :hurray:

i'm sure it's possible, that first pic just looks a little funny.

i'm in the market to buy my wife a new boat. i'm falling just a few dollars short. some day soon, though. some day soon.

i saw a sugar sand jumping wake from a freighter a few years ago up in grand traverse bay. the only thing i could think of was how big that dudes balls musta been. the entire boat would get about 8 feet of air and there were 2 other people in the boat with him.

WOW that is awesome!!! Sure wish i could catch some wake like that. If that is real I bet that didn't feel so hot when they hit the water.

I posted that pic, got it off another forum and there are more pics of the guy jumping. I jump boat wakes like that all the time and get just as much air, LOL ive never been hurt and boat has no damage  Sportster 150's weight less then 1500lbs and the one in the pic has 215hp so lots of power to fly off wakes. NO photo shop guys

Yeah and you can see where it crosses in the wake...it's just further back than you'd think. Definitely looks like a real pic.

With that much pitch, I bet it's a softer landing than most would think.

hey joel i got a water proofhelmet cam that you can mount to your boat when your doing all these acrobat stunts.
that way you can back up your lingo. if your interested let me no, ill fed ex it to you.:lols:
