I'm from Peoria and work on my PWCs. I usually ride from 74 to 17 on the river.

Only when I was trying to stir them up by running in the shallow areas or following behind a friends boat. Otherwise, I just stay near or in the channel and have had no problems. I hear south of the 474 dam they are alot worse.
