Oil with Gas

I would like to know if anyone else adds a bit of oil in the gas tank. I heard it was beneficial in case the oil from the oil tank fails to mix properly. Is this a good idea?

Premix?

There are a lot of post in the forum of people with older model SeaDoos going premix. They simple disengage the oil pump and mix the fuel with a 40 or 50:1 ratio. You can purchase a oil pump block off kit on ebay. The oil tank has to remain though, because the lower part of the engine (bottom end) is lubricated with that oil. If you add oil while your oil pump is in service, then it seems that too much oil will enter the engine causing plugs to foul.
