Oil Warning Beep on 2003 GTX 4 Tec SC

I just picked up a 2003 GTX 4 Tec SC that has 75 hours on it and was total re-built 10 hours ago.

It runs great and last time out the Oil Warning came on after riding it for 2 hours. It went off and did not come back on.

Is 10-40W oil the correct oil to put in?
Any tips on checking and adding oil?

yes 10w40 synthetic from BRP is what to use. To check just warm it up and make sure the ski is level. Then pull stick. should be in the middle of stick. Did you get any error codes at all? i recall reading something about the oil PSI sensor going bad on the 4tec models.

are you getting a warning light an buzzer?
If so pull the code out and see what it is..........
