Oil Tank

Just noticed on the top of my oil tank for my 98 gtx limited there is a "oil level sensor assembly" with some wires coming out of it on one side, and a "check valve" on the other side. (part # 275500398 ) It looks like a hose of some sort should be plugged into that check valve, mine does not!


Is that supposed to be empty, or did a hose fall off?

The check valve sits there just like that........... nothing connected to it.

Those wires are to to the oil sensor, when oil level is low, the guage light glows.
