Oil Tank

I had to replace my oil tank because of a crack. I have the new tank ready to be installed. The dealer told me I have to prime the system when I fill the new tank up with oil. Can someone tell me process for this so I don't mess anything up. It is a 1999 Sportster 1800. Thanks,

There is a small bleed screw you open on the oil pump until fresh oil flows out. DO NOT overtighten it.
Now would be a good time to change the inline oil filters, the small 3/32" oil lines fromt he pump to the intake manifold and verify you are only using API-TC rated full synthetic oil.
