I just noticed the other day that the oil is leaking out of the oil tank. On the bottom of the tank there is some kind of adapter with 2 oil lines coming off of it. Is there an o-ring or a gasket that goes between that adapter and the tank that needs to be replaced??

yup... it has a rubber grommet that goes around the fitting... my gtx was leakin too i replaced it were all good now... there only a few bucks... look under the parts section at the top of the page buy what you need!!!

had the same problem, however there was a hairline crack about a half inch long at the hole on the bottom of the tank, he got a new oil tank and gromet.....

i will double check the tank and see if there is any cracks at all. I will be draining the oil and take the tank out on friday, i will keep you updated. thanks for the info. guys

I had a similar problem , the bottom grommets on the oil tank were dripping. I pulled the tank , cleaned it out real good , pulled the grommets , used denatured alcohol on the holes and grommets and a really thin layer of black RTV going back together. Its sealed up tight now , no drips.
Good Luck !
