Well my oil tank has been leaking the expensive ash less oil so I have the got to replace the grommet which is the source. I have the part ( grommet ) but any other info I need before I go to replace it..? Basically I gather I need to take hose off, pull inner fitting, pop out old grommet, then clean, put new grommet in and then fitting and hose goes on that......Oh the attwood oil extractor I tried isnt working to extract the tank resovoir oil either, so thats my first job to tackle! Any added input, I would love to hear! thanks! Greg:thumbsup:

Well I got the part from Seadoo and replaced the grommet, but the thing is still leaking...any tricks to doing this fix? Thanks, Greg

You cleaned are with solvent to clean area to make nice seal. Put some sealant b/w grommet base and tank would be solution though I would think.

Edit: tried to find thread I thought I saw about it but kustomkarl said grommet is self sealing. It wouldn't need silicone...
Maybe it will seal up??
