Hi guys,

I am preparing on making a list of parts I need to get. Some I will try to use ebay and other I will buy new depending on the price. I would like to change as little parts as needed as this been done about 22 hours ago by a shop already charging me over 6k.

For the Oil Separator, I understand this is the front oil pump and it`s very important for not loosing oil pressure. This was replaced before my SC drive gear broke.

Out of these 4 parts in the pictures, can I reuse any of them or I need a few or all new ones ?. I have seen a complete oil separator pump on line but not sure how it looks inside it might look just like mine or worst ...

Thanks a lot for helping out.

Since nobody has replied yet I will supply you with my opinion about the oil pump parts you posted in the pictures. Keep in mind I am by no means an expert in rebuilding these engines, but I have a fair amount of knowledge about engines in general.

All of the parts pictured have been damaged by all the supercharger bits that got thrown around inside the engine when it failed, very clear to see. I would replace any and all parts showing damage or wear marks like those pictured. Oil pumps operate under very tight tolerances, even slight imperfections will affect performance and ability to properly provide oil to the vital engine parts. The oil pump might work fine with those imperfections for a while but why take a chance on a newly rebuilt $3500 engine? I would recommend to replace all those parts and to not reuse any of them.
