Yesterday I took out my 05 Sea Doo GTX Wake Edition for about an hour.. Ran fine for a while until the alarm buzzer went off and the dash said "oil"... Shut it down and alarm stays silent until I hit around 3,000 RPM- then alarm, OIL message, and reduced power (limp home mode ?)
I checked and the engine oil level is fine- I even added a little...
Is this probably the oil pressure sending unit (I guess this machine has 2 of them) ??? I have heard they fail and go bad.
Are these difficult to replace?? I'm very handy at this type of thing...
What is the best place to order these parts from ??
Are these hard to replace ??
Thanks.- Tony

Did you check the oil properly? Run for 30 seconds then wait 30 seconds then check it, and machine must be level.

Yes, thanks... I checked the oil properly and it's not a low oil problem... Think it could be one of the oil pressure sending units (switches) ??

Order a new switch from dealer and try it, you will have to run the new one for at least 30 seconds and above 3000 rpm to clear the low oil light.
