OK, I have a 2001 gs. The oil tank was leaking at the seams. So I purchased a new tank, all new seals, and filter. When I pulled the pressure sensor out, I noticed that the little pill bottle looking thing at the lowest part of the sensor had a loose cap???(see pic, allen wrench at seam)

Not sure if that should be sealed.?.?
Just dont want to put it tegether if I need to replace the sensor first.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for your help!!

Off the top of my head, I can't remember if that was normal or not. BUT... I would say it's OK, since the seadoo sensor let's the oil inside.

Was the sensor working before it was removed?

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I just purchased this seadoo. I was told it was in "great" condition. So im not sure if the sensor works or not. Im going to put it back together and give it a shot.

Thanks again!
Marc

The seadoo sensor takes a while to saturate with oil... so if it's been out of the oil for a while... it could take a day or so before the oil light will go out.
