Oil leak

I have a 96 xp 787. It has an oil leak right at the oil injection pump. Not from the lines but around the whole pump where it’s on the stator/cover. Is there a gasket or an O-ring?

There is nothing there that should have oil in it that could be leaking. The stator should not have oil in it and the pump should not be leaking.
Don't just change the pump to cover o-ring, you need to find what is leaking.

The oil pump is on the front f the engine, should be pretty easy to see. clean it off really good and keep an eye on it.

I redone my oil lines and all three connections are tight and not leaking. I cleaned it up and put maybe half a quart in and every bit ran out. I didn’t run the ski or turn it over or anything. The leaks are running out around the pump, straight down the cover.

Then your pump must be bad.
Check the two phillips screws holding the top plate on.

Did you change the grommets on the oil tank as well?

If not..Test it by wrapping a paper towel around the oil line feeding the pump and loosely zip tie it around the oil line. If it's oil soaked in a few hours or days, then you could have a leaking grommet. The oil can run down this line in tiny amounts and make it appear that the oil pump is leaking.
