oil injector hoses full of air.

Hi. I'm trying to make sure my oil injection is working. I hook up the ski to the hose, open the oil pump by hand, but I'm not seeing movement of the oil pockets inside the two little oil hoses. I tried taking the lines off the pump, clearing the lines of oil, and reattaching the lines back to the pump, but Im not getting any fresh oil in the line. Help please :cheers:

Make sure your oil cap is on tight and they're no cracks or holes in the hoses or reservoir. The oil reservoir needs pressure in order to supply oil to the engine. If that doesn't work then you might have a bad oil pump.

Do I need to worry about the two little lines leading the the injectors having air? Shouldnt the air just get pushed out by fresh oil from the pump? The bubbles are not moving when I open pump by hand

My guess is your oil filter is JELLY. Bills86e

Replace that.

Thanks for the replies, the oil filter is new.

I put some compress air through the two little hoses today and tried to get them full of oil again by opening the pump by hand, but only one of them filled up, the longer one.
