Oil filter housing broken inside?

Hi there people's, I'm new to the form we're currently in the process of swapping out engines on our GTX 185 supercharged 2004 when I looked inside of the oil filter housing it looks like it's broken inside I'll post a picture does that normal?

I see no threads, something doesn't look right to me.

When i look at the inside of the bottom the left of the screw look damaged and to the right of thr screw hole looks cracked. If I use this housing will it be ok?
