Oil Change Frequency

Hello all. I have seen some similar posts but I am going to get this discussion going again.

I have read the owners manual and it says to change the oil in the 2008 GTX 155 every 1year or 100 hours. As far as I am concerned, there is no reason to change the oil every season. I probably put on 20-30 hours per season. Anyone have any thoughts about this? Even at that rate, I would even consider an oil change at every two seasons. Oil doesn't break down sitting in storage.

What are your thoughts?

Oil does pick up condensation and has impurities forming as it sets. It's your choice to do what is recommended or not. For the small price of oil verses engine problems from sledge and deposits I prefer having clean in in my seadoo.
