Just got back from testing my new skat trac swirl and new wear ring tonite.:hurray::hurray::hurray: Absolutley no cavitation whatsoever! It's a special pitch designed for above 3000 ft(11/15). We had a full tank,2 people and a dog weighing about 350# pulling me (230#) on a tube out of the hole and almost ripped my arms off:rofl: The only drawback was a top speed (GPS) of 42mph. But at 42 you could crank the wheel hard and spin it ,and it pulls hard back to speed with little or no cavitation:hurray:
I must add that my wear ring was totally destroyed, the OEM impeller wasn't in to bad of shape and maybe I just needed a wear ring but when I bought it (with 7hrs) it cavitated at the start but we GPS'd it at 50mph top speed.
In conclusion I would gladly give up 8 mph for the fun factor of fast hole shots and fast s**t hooks:cheers:
Thanks Scooper for the idea:)

Sounds great Lee, thanks for the review. I agree that I would much rather give up a couple of miles an hour in order to pull harder. If I ever need to replace the impeller in the U-boat I will be going with a performance one from either Mercury or Solas.

Aaron:cheers:
