well i got my seadoo back from the mechanic 92 xp. he put a new starter in it and repaired my exhaust pipe. it was leakiing water. he noticed that someone had cut out my water seperator and he found one for me and gave it to me. I appreciated him doing it. i installed it where it goes but am wonderinf about the hoses. i am assuming and i know that it is not good to assume but i am guessing that the fuel tank line runs to the arrow going in and the arrow out is for the line to the fuel switch. if i am wrong please let me know. also should i put fuel in it or will it fill on its on? also i am going to put some new fuel line. is fuel likne from like autozone ok? also i looked at some of the other fuel lines that look new from the previous owner. his mechanic used zip ties instead of hose clamps i was thinking about replacing that with new hose clamps. number 4 hose clamps?or do you think zip ties are sufficient? someone also told me to add seafoam to tank. good or bad?

again thank you all for everything. if any of yall need drywall advice i will gladly help yall. thanks

Hi,
Look at this diagram http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche.com/dooware/showmodel.asp?Type=13&make=seadoopwc&A=8&B=12

#15 is the fuel separator and #3 is the fuel selector switch....just follow the hoses.

black auto lines are fine just make sure you get the correct size.

Whether you use the hose clamps or zip ties is your choice....I used the clamps (stainless Steel) and some use the zip ties.
I added gas to the separator but some don't...I felt it was easier to get fuel into the carbs that way, w/o cranking for longer than necessary.
If any of the gas lines are still "Gray tempo", then clean the filters in the carbs too. Also add an in-line fuel filter...a big fatty one. See the thread in the how to section on the home page, scroll down until you see it...it's by Dr. Honda

A lot of the experts here don't recommend Seafoam..some even call it CRAP!!! Some swear by it, some swear at it....so you are on your own on this subject. :)

the arrow going in comes from the out of the fuel selector and the arrow going out goes to the carbs. it fills on its own. zip ties are fine if you secure them really tight; if you can spin the zip tie on the fuel line it's not tight enough.
