No spark in 1995 GTX

I recently put a new 675x engine in my 1995 GTX, took it to the lake and it ran fine for a day. The next time I took it out, it ran for maybe 1 minute then just quit. It would crank and crank, but would not light up. I took it home and discovered I have no spark. I have tested the MPEM using an Ohm meter and there are two wires, both of which should read less than 1 Ohm, that read 1.6 Ohm - other than those two wires, all other MPEM reading were fine. The coil has resistance within spec as well, about 12.5 ohms reading at the ends of the plug wires, with the boots removed. I tested the black/red and black wires coming from the stator, the reading Ohm reading was within specs. Does anyone know if those two wires (Red ring terminal to Red female terminal plus the Red ring terminal to the Red/Purple female terminal) which read 1.6Ohms, but should read less than 1 Ohm - could that lead to a no spark condition?

Thanks for any help.
