Hi everyone!
I am new to the forum and jetski world. I am looking for a reliable seedoo mid range for my personal hobby weekend. Not a high end, looking for a budget one then later I will add/modify some bolt on mods.
Please recommend me some popular models/year/specs to star with. I need the one easy to mod/play with and easy to find aftermarket spare parts.
Hope everyone will share me some info.
Thanks
Dan

We have a 06 GTI 130, and an 96 GTI 155. we absolutely love them, and they go for $2500-$3,200 here in Florida. No SC to deal with and go up to 60MPH (Single Rider). Great to ride and easy to maintain. Buy with under 100 hrs if you can

Thank you. I am in Australia by the way.
Will look into these models. I am not rush because Its winter here.
How about the modifications? Is it easy to gain some power with bolt on?

There's not a lot you can do to modify the non-supercharged models that would cost less than replacing the ski with a faster one! The sweet spot seems to be the 130SE (130hp) or 155SE/GTX (155HP) models if buying used. No supercharger to worry about (although I suspect you aren't in a location that freezes in the winter) and fast enough for most people.

As far as tinkering is concerned, you can replace the chips in some of these to get an extra few HP but the cost is high considering what you get.

Like I say, I'd just get a nice mid-level machine for now and then replace it with a faster one down the road. Or, bite the bullet now and get a supercharged one (post 2008) and have some fun!
