Mike, the best advise is to look in the want ads, or local paper for trailer builders in your area. Being as this forum is world wide, it's kinda tough to buy a trailer from say someone in California, or Florida....how are you gonna pick it up? That's a local thing you need to do. I have tons here in my back yard...but it's not worth the drive for a $500.00 trailer from MA.

Thanks. Why a trailer builder? Couldn't I just buy a new trailer from the OEM manufacturer. It would be nice to get a used-good one, cause it would be less expensive. I checked craigslist and couldn't find one...
At this point, I don't feel the trailer is worth saving. Probably cheaper to buy a new or used one.
This is the whole issue me taking this boat is hinging on. HELP guys!!
I was looking at buying a used Seadoo Utopia without a trailer so poked around a bit. This guy was on eBay and looked to have decent prices. When I used the "dealer finder" option for Karavan and Yachtclub there was nothing close by. They seem rather hard to find. If you google trailer kits you should find some options as well. I liked what I saw at davesboattrailers.com though (no connection with that company).

Thanks for the lead. Makes a little of my headache go away. If I don't buy directly from Dave's, at least I can get a lead on what brand and type of trailer would best suit my needs.
What kind of money am I looking at? Is there a way I can use the good components off of the old trailer, and save some money? Or should I just start fresh?
Mike, here in Florida it's the boating capital of the world, as it's year round. There are like 5 trailer builders in a 10 mile radius of where I live. If you find a trailer repair shop or builder have new items installed on it for peace of mind. Why have a new trailer with old corroded bunks or brackets on it.
