new to seadoos and jetskis

hello all i traded my dirt bike over the winter for a pair of seadoo sp a 94 and 96 both 587 single carb engines. I finally got them on the water and after a couple of spark plugs the 94 runs great. the 96 however will run good for a while then starts
running like its running out of fuel. any help and advice you can give is appriciated.

Welcome to the forum Crow. The older units came with grey fuel lines that do not hold up to the new ethanol fuels. See if your fuel lines are grey. If they are, you will need to change them out. Lots of threads about this in the 2-stroke PEC section. Good luck.

with the grey fuel lines would that let it run good for the first 15 mins or so then lean out

If you have gray fuel lines, you want to replace those and clean the whole fuel system before trying to diagnose any further otherwise you are chasing your tails.
