I got a new solas jet pump w a steering nozzle for my 01 seadoo challenger twin 717s and its slightly longer and the only way i could get it to work is shimming the reverse bracket 2 inches with these metal cylinder sleeves i found at the hardware store that i ran the mounting bolts through. Will i be able to get the reverse cable adjusted enough to compensate that or should i extend the bracket with an angle grinder and welder? (I swapped the plastic reverse gate and bracket with the metal 1994-1995 brackets)
