A friend gave me a 1997 GSX Sea Doo and I can't wait to use it. It looks like someone has played with everything once on the Sea Doo. I found things unbolted and some things tie wrapped back together. I opened the Rave Valves on the exhaust and found one with a spring and another without so I am going to order 2 so I know they will both be the same. The gas is 6 years old so I guess I can take the gas tank out to clean it out. I don't know how any or the electrical is supposed to work or what any of the buttons are supposed to do. Is there any parts I should change since it has been sitting for 6 years. I did get the engine to kick over and start for about 30 seconds. When I connected the battery, I didn't get any displays on the instruments. I don't know if it should tell me the amount of gas or anything. I don't know where to start. Anyone in the Connecticut area that has one?

change the grey fuel lines if you still have them, clean and rebuild the carbs , service the oil injection system,clean and swab the gas and oil tanks, change the jet pump oil, then go out and ride and have a blast. there are how to's on all this stuff on this forum just search it.
