New member of the S/C takes a dump club

My 06 RXT with only 56 hours died. Riding in laughlin and lost power, wouldnt go over 45 mph. I was smart to trailer it and come home. Took to deal and the DX was the S/C was on the way out. Had motor gone thru and zero S/C parts inside. New rebuit S/C, stater now . Will pick up this week. Dealer said I was VERY lucky .

It isn't just about the hours. It's about the age as well. The bearings and bearing cages fail and then your pulling the engine to get the parts out.

As you had ceramic washers, you got lucky.

Wow. You need to dig in and learn the mechanics of the ski some. $2900 could buy a decent used ski.

Truly hope it is like new at this point and runs for years with no issues.

$2,900 for what? I thought there was no debris in the motor (which I kind of find hard to believe).
