Just wanted to say hi. We just purchased our first Sea Doo, a 2007 Speedster. Very excited about it and have taken it out a few times already and have had a great time. ....BUT, noticed it was blowing some smoke the last time we took it out, not a lot, just a little. In fact you have to look over the back end to see it. It still seems to run great, but kind of worried about it, so hoping to get some answers. Seems like this is the right place to be able to figure things out. If anyone can point me in the right direction on this site, I would appreciate it.

Welcome to the forum. Lots of helpful folks here. Try posting any questions about your boat in the 4-Tek boat section of the forum.

Where in Michigan are you? Lots of members from your state on board here. We used to vacation regularly up by TC.

Thanks! I'll do that even though I posted a question somewhere in trouble shooting, I think!

We live in the Ann Arbor area, but spend weekends up north on Houghton Lake, not too far from TC.

This will be a great resource. Appreciate the response!

My brother lives in AA off of Green Road. I know of Houghton Lake, but have never been there.

How many hours are on your boat? Do you know if the supercharger has been serviced recently?

Small world! I work a mile or 2 from Green Road.

Houghton Lake is very nice, mostly shallow though, average 9 ft. But it is huge, Michigan's largest inland lake. :)

32 hours now on the boat, it was 29 when we bought it a month ago with a new super charger and engine. I can't recall if the engine is new or rebuilt, did come with a transferable warranty though. Just hate to take it out of the water already and haul it back 150 miles if we don't have to, especially since we have plans for the 4th of July holiday cominu up right around the corner. What do you think?
