New GTI SE Gel coat cracking. I have extensive gel coat cracking on rear deck area. Only 8 hrs on ski.

2023 Seadoo GTI SE 130. Extensive Gel coat cracks on rear deck area and near tow point. No accidents and only 8 hrs on ski. I do own the large cooler that seadoo sells but the ski should be designed to handle it right? At dealer now to get warranty assesment. My first Seadoo. Not happy. Anyone with this issue?

The top body of the newer GTI (I think with 2020 model redesign) is actually an acrylic molded finish - not gel coat. Regardless, I wouldn’t anticipate cracking in the acrylic layer, so I am glad you have it at the dealer. It almost sounds like it wasn’t formed or compressed properly? Not sure if others have more experience with seeing this. I definitely don’t have it cracking on my 2021 GTI SE 170
