D docster Member Jun 13, 2021 #1 I am running a new ground wire on my 587. Is it ok to run it to the engine mounting plate at the motor mount? I would obviously clean it up first. It’s too hard to get to the starter without pulling a bunch. Other locations to run a new ground?

D docster Member Jun 14, 2021 #4 Ok. Thanks! I will try ti get in there with some universals to get the new one in. What’s the recommendations on length of cable. Does a 16” sound too long? I have one that’s already sealed and ready to go.
