Anyone know where I can get 2 of the inline high pressure fuel filters for the di seadoos? I see brp has them for 150 a piece. I have heard of people on this forum getting them for 50-60... I just can't find the post anymore.

Anyone have some ideas for new replacements that aren't 150$

Thanks!

If you go to Google, and type the following in the search bar you can search easier. fuel filter di site:seadooforum.com

You can change the key words too.

I tried that. Found that you can order an 01 gtxdi filter for 60 ... But when I call the dealer they say it's not 60. Also I am a little weary to install the acdelco one that is rated for 100 psi

If the ones from the 2001 GTX Di are correct it looks like the upper filter is going for $75 and the lower is $28. Just search google using the OEM part numbers.

Keep in mind I have never worked on a DI so I can't confirm what works. I just searched the part numbers.

Do yourself a favor and go to any auto parts store and purchase a metal fuel filter with 5/16" ports. Cut the expensive filter out and replace with the purchased filter using two heavy duty hose clamps. Works great for about 6.00$. I have been doing this for several years with great success.

You can get the in tank fuel filters at the local auto parts store. If your pulling the pump & changing those at the same time. I can see if I can find the info. I was given the numbers a few years back from another member.

Biggest thing with the inline is making sure it can handle 100+ PSI I would think any of the steel ones should, but I have no idea. I also bough the 2001 style. It just comes without the hose so its "cheaper", but still expensive.

Airtex FS220 and FS242. Can be purchased at any Auto Zone.

Do you know the model on a replacement inline metal filter? There's so many different metal ones I want to make sure it's one that can handle the pressure. You said you have used one with success.

I have purchased the paper ones that are internal to the pump. I have not found one rated to the 100 psi the pump makes.

I cut the very expensive metal canister filter out and replaced it with a wix 33095 filter. You can get them from Amazon or go to any auto parts store and purchase an equivalent for around 6 bucks. You will need two heavy duty stainless hose clamps. Beats 70 to 90 bucks for an OEM replacement. Works great!
Just replace every couple of seasons.

When you cut the hose, cut it as close to the filter as possible or it will be too short. You will see.
